Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU) is a state government health sciences university located in Ner Chowk, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 2019 under the Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences Act, 2017, and was renamed as AMRU in 2019 from its earlier name Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences. The university serves as the first dedicated medical and health sciences university in Himachal Pradesh.

The university operates from the Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College campus at Ner Chowk but is set to shift to Sarkaghat in Mandi.
